Ramadan is likely to come on May 6

Monday, May 6, is likely to be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

Dubai, UAE. The UAE Moon Observation Committee will convene today, May 05, after an evening prayer to fix the appearance of a new crescent in the sky. The committee is chaired by the chairman of Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi Al Daheri, Minister of Justice of the UAE.

According to sources in Saudi Arabia, Sunday, May 5, will be the last day of the month of Shaban, and Monday, May 6, will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan and the beginning of Lent. Thus, tomorrow after sunset, the committee will meet again to observe the moon.
