Manchester City will help young football players from the United Arab Emirates

Young football players from the United Arab Emirates will be able to train at one of the best clubs in the English Premier League.

Promising football players from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, will be sent to the training center of the Manchester City club as part of their continuing education programs.

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council has signed a three-year contract with Premier League champions and City Football Group to send young players and their coaches from the UAE to Etihad Campus in Manchester, where they can improve your skills in fitness, healthy eating and sports. The three-year agreement will be valid until 2021 and will allow 32 players and coaches to participate in the training program annually.

The Etihad Campus base in Manchester, worth £ 200 million (970 million UAE dirhams), was officially opened in 2014 and is considered one of the best in the world. She has 16 football fields and was highly praised by football players such as Lionel Messi, Barcelona striker.

Emirate footballers and coaches will have the opportunity to see Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne, whose teams are already training at Etihad Campus, which is located next to the home stadium of Manchester City.

“This agreement is an important milestone in the development of cooperation between the City Football Group and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and will help improve the skills of football players and coaches from Abu Dhabi,” commented Aref Al Avani, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. “I would like to once again express my sincere gratitude to the City Football Group for bringing this agreement to life with clear ambitions and a firm intention to work together,” he added.

City Football Group has already opened football schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for children from three to 18 years old. "The City Football Group has launched attractive football programs in Abu Dhabi, and this agreement shows our commitment to supporting football in the emirate," said Oliver Turkel, City Football Group Regional Director for North Africa and the Middle East.
