A copy of the Taj Mahal will appear in Dubai

Dubai continues to build a reputation as a "city of miracles." Following the construction of the tallest building in the world, the emirate announced plans for the implementation of the Taj Arabia project - a copy of the famous Taj Mahal mosque-mausoleum, which is located in India. The complex will include a hotel with 300 rooms, shops and commercial buildings. It will be an enlarged copy of the famous Taj Mahal mosque-mausoleum located in the Indian city of Agra.

The construction cost is estimated at 44.07 billion dirhams (US $ 12 billion). The complex will be commissioned in 2014 and will also be called the “New City of Love”. It will appear on the territory of the Falcon City of Wonders area under construction, where it is also planned to erect copies of the Eiffel Tower and the Great Wall of China. The new district is designed to accommodate 35 thousand people. In addition to residential buildings, shopping areas will be located on its territory, and a park will be established.
