Black diamonds

A LITTLE SWEET TASTE DELICACY FROM FRANCE REMINDS FOREST, LAND AND A LITTLE MUSK WITH THEIR ODOR

TRUFFLES ARE ABLE TO MAKE THE MOST ORDINARY CUISINE OF A GASTRONOMIC MASTERPHONE. IN RESTAURANTS IN DUBAI, YOU CAN TAKE CHALLEN'S CHALLAN, BEEF CUTTING OR GOE LIVER WITH A UNIQUE TASTE AND BRIGHT, UNCOMPOINTED AROMA OF TRUFFLES.

Royal mushrooms growing in the Perigord region in southern France are called real "black diamonds." Because of their ability to enhance taste, all international culinary contests prohibit participants from using truffles for cooking.

The unique taste of truffle was discovered 3000 years ago by ancient Sumerians, and the Egyptians called them magic mushrooms, attributing healing properties. The ancient Romans dedicated the truffle to Venus, the goddess of love, endowing it with the properties of a powerful aphrodisiac. So, the ancient Roman poet and satirist Juvenal explained the origin of the fungus by a lightning bolt that Jupiter threw in the vicinity of the oak.

Truffle reached its heyday in the Renaissance: then this delicacy was an integral attribute of all important festivals and feasts. At the court of the King of the Sun, Louis XIV, they were served with a minimum of culinary processing, but always with fresh flowers. The list of the most passionate truffle lovers includes Casanova, Napoleon, Byron, Madame de Pompadour and many other masters of the art of love.

Truffle resembles a potato tuber. The fungus retains its freshness for two weeks after harvest, if stored at low temperatures. To the seemingly unpresentable truffle, the expression "all the most valuable is inside" fits perfectly. The best places to try truffle dishes in Dubai are the Armani / Ristorante and Alta Badia restaurants.
