PORCELAIN MASTERPHERE “TSARINA NILA” BECAME A REAL SENSATION IN THE WORLD OF MODERN ART. THE SCULPTURAL COMPOSITION OF MANUFACTURE LLADRÓ TURNS OUT ALL THE LUXURY MUSEUMS AND CULTURAL CENTERS OF EUROPE AND ASIA.
The composition "Queen of the Nile" recreates the splendor and splendor of Ancient Egypt. In its center - the figure of the queen, making a river trip, accompanied by a large retinue. Even the details of her outfit correspond to the era (it is believed that Nefertari, the first wife of the pharaoh Ramses II the Great, gave inspiration to the image). The delicate work of the masters of Lladró is visible in the elaborate details: patterns of precious stones on the queen’s crown, delicate feather fans, flower ornaments and voila in dresses of dancers. The hull of the boat and the throne of the queen are covered with hieroglyphs, borrowed from genuine Egyptian manuscripts.
It took about five years to create the sculpture, it took 400 hours to paint and 150 hours to assemble the fragments. The length of the boat is 160 centimeters. On it are 12 human figures and one panther, as if stopped in motion. The composition was released in 2006 in a limited edition of 100 copies.
