UAE again become the most prosperous country in the region

THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES HAVE SAVED THEIR POSITION OF THE MOST WELL-BEING COUNTRY IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND NORTH AFRICA AND AMONG THE 30 WORLDWORKS OPEN.

The prosperity rating, compiled annually by the London-based institute for economic research, ranks countries in eight categories: economics; business opportunities, public administration, education, healthcare, security, personal freedom and social status.

The UAE has the highest position (composite rating 30) in the economic section of the ranking 21st place out of 142 countries. Five more countries in the region are among the 50 most prosperous countries in the world: Kuwait (36), Saudi Arabia (42), Turkey (48), and Morocco (49). On a global scale, Norway is the leader, and for the seventh consecutive year. Switzerland took 2nd place for the third year in a row, and Denmark climbed from 4th to 3rd place.

The least prosperous countries are located predominantly in sub-Saharan Africa, 6 out of the 10 most disadvantaged countries. The most disadvantaged country in the world is the Central African Republic.
