Dubai's outstanding students will receive scholarships

The ruler of Dubai ordered to provide scholarships to outstanding students of the emirate.

More than a hundred prominent students in Dubai will receive special scholarships by order of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and ruler of Dubai.

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, he commissioned the Emirate’s Private Schools for Knowledge and Human Development Office (KHDA), which runs the third program for prominent emirate students.

As part of the program, outstanding students get the opportunity to attend some of the best private schools in Dubai. More than 300 students have benefited from the program since its launch in 2017.

To join the program, the student must be an emirate residing in Dubai. There are also requirements for the classroom and the results of written tests and oral interviews organized by the school. The student must also be registered at the school as of the current school year. The selection committee evaluates each application based on established criteria.

“The scholarship program serves as a springboard to improve living conditions,” said Fatma Al Murri, Executive Director of Educational Development at KHDA, “Together with strategic partners, we want to make every effort to ensure the best quality education for students in Dubai.” .

Ms. Al Murray encouraged parents to apply for scholarships and arrange for their children to go to schools, which the KHDA rated as “good” or better.
