AZUR air will operate charter flights to Dubai from 19 cities of Russia.
Dubai, UAE. The ANEX Tour tour operator plans to open a flight program to Dubai from 19 cities of Russia from August 16, the Association of Russian Tour Operators said. The carrier will be AZUR air.
Flights are planned from Belgorod, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhnekamsk, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Tyumen, Ufa and Chelyabinsk.
According to the Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing of the Government of Dubai, in the first six months of 2018 alone, over 400 thousand Russian tourists visited the Emirates, which is three quarters more than in the same period last year. This is the most significant increase among the markets supplying tourists to Dubai.
Such a significant increase in tourist flow in the UAE began from last year, when the visa regime for tourists from Russia was first simplified, and then completely canceled.
