Omani Ahmed Ali took part in the mega-sale, which took place on December 26, on the first day of the festival, purchased a jacket for 400 dirhams (US $ 110) in the City Center Me'aisem shopping center and won 50 thousand dirhams (US $ 13.7 thousand). The lucky winner noted that he had learned about the action from the newspapers.
The minimum purchase amount for participation in the lottery was 300 dirhams.
