Eli Saab is a Lebanese fashion designer. In 1982, Saab, at the age of 18, launched his fashion brand based in Beirut. His main workshop is in Lebanon. Eli also has workshops in Milan and Paris.

Born into a family of Maronite Catholics, Saab studied on his own. He began to sew as a child and knew in advance that in the future he would earn his living. In 1981, Eli moved to Paris to study design skills. At the end of his studies, in 1982, he returned and opened his workshop. In 1997, Saab became the first non-Italian designer to be honored to become a member of the Italian National Fashion House. In 1997, Eli first showed his first collection outside Lebanon, namely in Rome. In 1998, Saab began producing Pret-a-Porte collections in Milan, and in the same year held a show in Monaco, visited by Princess of Monaco, Stefania.

Eli became world famous in 2002, after Oscar winner Halle Berry chose an Oscar dress from his collection. Later, Berry more than once opted for dresses from the collections of Eli Saab.

In May 2003, the High Fashion Union House in France invited Eli Saab to become a member, and in July 2003, Eli first presented her haute couture collection in Paris. His first Pret-a-Porte collection in Paris was Spring / Summer 2006, and now the Paris catwalk is a permanent venue for Lebanese-style ready-to-wear shows.

Clothes from Eli Saab can be found in boutiques in Beirut, Paris and London (Selfridges and Harrods).
