Boxers from Dubai will perform in Russia

The leadership of the Dubai martial arts team Creative Concepts Martial Arts Team has signed contracts for the participation of athletes from the UAE in professional fights in Russia. In February and March of this year, three team members will take part in Russian tournaments.

The team’s new breakthrough was announced on February 12 at a press conference held in the conference hall of the Dubai Real Estate Agency Creative Concepts, which in October this year took patronage of professional fighters from the “Martial Arts Academy” in Dubai.

The first tournament was held on February 18 in the city of Surgut according to the “mix-fight” version, better known to the general public as “fighting without rules”. This catchy name easily took root in Russia.

Now the phrase "fighting without rules" in Russian means competition by the rules that allow fights between representatives of any kind of martial arts. Unified rules equalize athletes, allow the use of shock and wrestling equipment in a duel.

The next stage is a tournament in the professional boxing ring of the city of Nefteyugansk, which will be held on March 4. For the Creative Concepts Martial Arts Team, it will feature Al Mukhtar Dakosta and Elias Sebulim. Both have good track records in amateur boxing and are now actively preparing for the show.

Senegalese, who grew up in Holland, Dacosta has behind him the rich experience of a professional athlete. Al Mukhtar spent more than forty fights in Thai boxing
and was known by the name of Bruno before he converted to Islam. An excellent drummer of Dacosta said that he is focused on the upcoming battle and is not going to give the opponent the slightest chance.

Elias Sebulim (20 years old, performs in the 63 kg weight category) began boxing at school. Repeated Uganda junior boxing champion. In 2000, won the gold medal in South Africa. In 2001, a gold medal at the King’s Cup for East and Central Africa, held in Uganda.

In 2002, Elias added another “gold” to his Royal Medal at the Royal Boxing Cup in Denmark. In 2002-2003, he received a gold medal at the All-African Games in Nigeria. Elias was not allowed to leave Uganda for a long time, as the Boxing Federation did not want to let the brilliant athlete out of the national team.

Now both boxers live and train in Dubai with the support of Creative Concepts Real Estate Agency. During a press conference, Elias was asked a question about his
mood for the upcoming battle. Smiling, the young boxer replied: “I am better than ever and ready to speak,” he added, “I know that Russia has good boxers, so the fight is not an easy one.”

“We have a fairly wide geography not only in the sale of Dubai real estate, but also in sports ambitions,” Igor Vasilyev, business development manager at Creative Concepts Real Estate, summed up the press conference.

The Martial Arts Academy plans to hold a professional Thai boxing tournament in the near future according to the Muay Thai World Council. The date and venue of the competition will be specified later. News about the performance of athletes from the Martial Arts Academy can be found on the club’s official website - www.fightacademy.ae.
