Safety, reliability, comfort

Created on January 28, 1992 by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan I.A. Karimov, the Uzbekistan Havo Yollari company over the 14 years of its existence has become one of the most powerful in the CIS and competitive in the international aviation market. Flight safety is the main criterion for the national airline Uzbekistan Airways

One of the first international routes opened by the Uzbekistan Havo Yollari National Airline was Tashkent-Sharjah.

The cooperation of the United Arab Emirates with Uzbekistan began in 1991, the year independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was declared. It is also noteworthy that both countries have much in common in culture and traditions. As you know, since ancient times the most affordable way to bring countries together and develop their relations has been trade. The first air transportation on the route Uzbekistan - United Arab Emirates began with it. Uzbekistan Airways launched regular flights from Tashkent to Sharjah in 1992. Initially, one-time cargo charter flights were made.

Conducting progressive economic and legislative reforms in Uzbekistan has simplified the procedure for trade and business between countries. Air traffic has increased significantly. Uzbekistan Airways gradually regulated the flow of goods, giving them a civilized character. Various goods began to be delivered to the republic: electronics and computers, industrial and household appliances, textiles and building materials. Tashkent Airport has become a transit point for the transport of goods to other countries of Central Asia - such as Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.

In 1997, the national airline Uzbekistan Airways was recognized as one of the best airlines in Sharjah for freight traffic. The signing in 1998 of an intergovernmental agreement on air traffic between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates gave a new impetus to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The company has a modern fleet of aircraft, which includes Airbus-310, Boeing-757, Boeing-767, RJ-85; the latest navigation systems, completely reconstructed and in accordance with international standards, airports, as well as highly professional personnel. The set of criteria provides a guarantee of a high degree of flight safety, and for this, Uzbek Airlines has been repeatedly awarded with awards by the International Aviation Security Fund, the Euromarket 2000 prize for business activity, and awards from the International Airport Association.

In 2005, Uzbekistan Airways won the Honorary Diploma of the President of the World Safety Fund "For Achievements in the Field of Aviation Safety" and the Boeing Commemorative Badge for the high reliability indicators achieved over the 10 years during which the company operates aircraft of this type.

The airline operates regular flights to more than 40 points, including America, countries of Europe, the Near and Middle East, Southeast and Central Asia,
CIS. The harmonious combination of accumulated experience and traditions, taking into account international practice and the introduction of advanced information technology services, puts Uzbekistan Airways in the ranks of the most successful and dynamically developing airlines in the world.

Over the past 2005, the company achieved growth in all key indicators. Last year, more than 1.6 million passengers used the services of Uzbek airlines.
In the aviation business, one of the main requirements for each airline is competitiveness. Honesty can be won only if an optimal fleet of aircraft will operate on a route where competitors are becoming tougher. In the future, until 2010, the airline will form three types of aircraft: long-, medium- and short-haul.

The last type of flights within the state of Uzbekistan (and to neighboring countries) with a length of 600 to 800 km will be performed by a modified IL-114 aircraft that meets all modern standards. Airplanes such as Airbus or Boeing will operate on medium-haul lines with a length of 3 to 3.5 thousand km. The long-haul aircraft fleet of the airline has already developed: these are the Boeing-767 and Boeing-757 models.

The UZBEKISTAN AIRWAYS TECHNIC group is engaged in maintaining airworthiness and servicing the equipment of this category in full, including the most complex types. The aircraft maintenance and repair center UZBEKISTAN AIRWAYS TECHNIC, located at the Tashkent airport on the basis of the aircraft repair plant, in close cooperation with the renowned company LUFTHANSA TECHNIC provides technical support and repair services for Western aircraft. Being the holder of the JAR-145 certificate, this center at a high level performs particularly complex maintenance work on the Airbus-310, Boeing-757 and Boeing-767 aircraft up to such a time-consuming form of repair as C4-Check.

Located at the crossroads of air routes between Europe and Southeast Asia, Uzbekistan is a promising transportation center that provides transportation of passengers and goods, and Tashkent International Airport is the largest in the entire Central Asian region. It is no accident that the National Airlines development project for the period until 2010 considers it as a possible place to create a multi-purpose transport hub like the airports of Sharjah and Dubai. There is a proposal to create a cargo hub on the basis of Samarkand Airport, which is also
center of international tourism.

Largely thanks to advertising campaigns, Uzbekistan is now quite famous in the Arab world. Official delegations and tourist groups from the UAE and other countries of the region visit the historical cities of the republic - Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz, famous for their architectural monuments. Here, Uzbek Airlines are simply irreplaceable.

Efficiency, correctness, ensuring safety on the ground and in the sky, fulfillment of obligations and high quality of service - this is the current style of work of the national airline Uzbekistan Airways, making it a worthy business partner.

Uzbekistan Airways has a representative office in the business part of Sharjah and an office at the international airport of this city. Regular passenger flights on the Tashkent - Sharjah - Tashkent route are operated twice a week on comfortable Airbus-310 and Boeing-767 aircraft. By the way, in the history of the airline company, Sharjah International Airport became the first foreign port to which a flight was carried out on a Boeing-767 in December 1996.

The company "Uzbekistan Airways" is always glad to its passengers. Both on earth and
aboard her planes you will always hear the hearty “HUSCH KELIBSIZ”, which means WELCOME. ”
